Liaising with Crematorium or Cemetery, Doctors, Hospitals, Clergy and other third parties. Use of our offices, mortuary and Chapel of Rest. Preparation and care of the deceased, attendance of the Funeral Director on the day of the funeral. Handling all donations received. £1375.00

An £80 surcharge applies if limousines aren’t required. This is to cover the cost of transportation of our bearers.

DIRECT FUNERALS
A direct funeral is an unattended service with no mourners present.
Our direct funeral includes; taking instructions and making all necessary arrangements for the funeral. Obtaining and preparing all statutory documents. Provision of a suitable coffin, removal of the deceased to our Chapel of Rest (up to 20 miles). Preparation and care of the deceased, use of our mortuary and Chapel of Rest. Provision of a hearse or other suitable vehicle direct to the Crematorium. £1,500* including cremation costs.
*This is based on a direct cremation at Bretby Crematorium. Direct cremations can be carried out at other crematoriums but may incur additional fees
** In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, you will usually need to pay a doctor’s fee as well. This is the charge for the Doctor to sign the medical certificate for Cremation.
Terms
Please note that we will require a deposit three working days before the funeral for the total cost of the disbursements.
A dated invoice will be sent to you or your appointed representative as soon as possible following the funeral.
Payment must be made in full within 21 days of the accounting date.
If you know there will be a delay in settling our account, a written notice or phone call should be received at our office within the 21-day payment period explaining the situation in full and confirming the earliest possible settlement date.
Where an account remains unpaid after 21 days, we reserve the right to charge interest per calendar month on the total outstanding amount.
